 Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum is [$400] per order. Shipping a box of fresh flowers costs real money, and the minimum lets us keep prices low on every bunch instead of adding fees. As you build your order, the order sheet shows how full your box is, so you’ll know exactly where you stand.

Is shipping included in the price?

Yes. The price you see is the price you pay, delivered to your door. There’s no handling fee or surprise shipping charge at checkout.

How do I place an order?

Go to the Order Sheet, enter how many bunches you want of each item (and each color), and check out. That’s it. Repeat customers can reorder in a couple of minutes. If you’d rather talk it through, call or text us at [760-207-8630].

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the continental U.S. We ship by FedEx and UPS from San Diego, where we’re minutes from the growers and wholesale market.

How does shipping work?

Your flowers are picked fresh the day after you order, boxed by hand, and shipped by ground or overnight. We ship tight in bud-form so the flowers travel well and open in your shop, not in the truck. Most of the Western US arrives in 1–2 days.

When will my order arrive?

Orders placed by [12 PM PST] ship [next business day]. We ship [Monday–Thursday] only, so your flowers never sit in a warehouse over the weekend. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as your box ships.

What condition will my flowers arrive in?

Tight in bud-form unless requested otherwise, the way the pros ship them. When your box arrives, unpack it right away. Recut the stems, put them in clean water with flower food, and give them a few hours in the cooler. Most flowers open beautifully within 1–2 days.

Can I order different flowers together?

Yes. Mix whatever you need in one order. One exception: roses ship in their own box, because they need different packing to arrive safely. If you order roses with other flowers, your order will ship in two boxes.

Can I choose different colors?

Yes. Every flower that comes in colors has a color row on the order sheet, so you can pick exactly how many bunches of each color you want.

Can I try you out before committing?

Absolutely. Order our Trial Box, a smaller sample so you can see the quality for yourself. [Say the price, and whether it’s exempt from the minimum.]

What if something I ordered isn’t available?

Fresh flowers depend on what the growers cut that week. If something isn’t available, we’ll [call or text you first / substitute the closest match in color and quality / refund that item]. We never send you something we wouldn’t put in our own shop.

Do you take specialty or event orders?

Yes. For weddings, events, or flowers not on our regular list, use the Specialty Orders page and give us 1–2 weeks’ notice. We’ll source it and confirm the price before you pay.

Can I set up a standing weekly order?

Yes. Tell us what you need and which day you want it, and we’ll make it automatic. You can change or pause it anytime with [30 days’] notice.

What happens if I need more than 600 bunches?

For large orders, contact us for a custom quote. We’ll put together pricing and a shipping plan that works for your volume.

What about Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day?

Order early. Holiday flowers sell out at the growers weeks ahead. Holiday ordering opens [one month prior to holidays], and [holiday pricing applies].

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can change or cancel anytime before [2 hours after you place your order or cutoff time] the day before shipping. After that, your flowers have already been processed and can not be canceled.

What if my flowers arrive damaged?

Email photos of the box and the damaged flowers to [sjoya65@gmail.com] within [24 hours] of delivery, and we’ll make it right with a credit.

Do I need a resale certificate?

If you’re buying for resale, send us your [state] resale certificate and we won’t charge sales tax. Without one, sales tax applies where required. For DIY we charge sales tax.

How do I pay?

All major credit cards at checkout. We also accept zelle payments.

Who are you?

I’m Sal Joya. I’ve spent 30 years in the flower business, in both retail and wholesale, and I still buy flowers every day for my wholesale and shipping operations. Think of me as your personal buyer in San Diego: someone in the same business who picks your flowers the way I’d pick my own, at prices that make sense for a shop.
